What we do...
We at Optilink understand the frustration when a fibre optic network is disrupted or vandalized by third parties. It relatively goes un-noticed by the public until the prevention and maintenance teams are deployed. There are many incurred costs in the short amount of time when the network was disrupted until the time when services are restored. Our promise to all our clients is to minimize unplanned network failure before it occurs. - Attend site meetings and kick off meetings on behalf of clients with 3rd party contractors to ensure network layout is explained.
- Point out client infrastructure to contractors to avoid potential threats.
- Build relationships with contractors through site meeting and continuous collaboration.
- Active construction sites are treated as “HOT SPOTS” – Special attention are given to such sites Inform clients of possible service relocations.
- Wayleave management and sign offs.
- Collaborate with preventative officers from other companies on a regular basis, building relationships.
- Maintain record keeping of site meetings – Reports are made available upon client requests.

Fibre optic network design and planning refers to the unique processes leading to the installation and operation of a fibre-optic network. This includes determining the type of communication system which will be carried over the network, the geographic layout, the equipment required and the fibre network over which it will operate.

At Optilink we ensure network security through our preventative measures giving our clients piece of mind by ensuring that there is always an eye on their network when no one else is watching. Our risk action plan is to prioritize resource availability to high-risk areas to minimize the risk of unplanned network failure.
